Insulated glass units within the doorsets are tested as part of the complete doorset in full scale primary fire tests, including frame configurations.

EW30 IGU in thirty minute doorsets offering fire integrity and heat radiation reduction.

EI30 IGU in thirty minute doorsets offering fire integrity and insulation.

E60 EI30 IGUs in one hour doorsets offering fire integrity for sixty minutes and fire insulation for thirty minutes.

The doorset full scale primary fire tests containing these IGUs achieve significant overruns, are attack resistant (BS EN 356) and offer low emissivity. Exceeding security, thermal insulation, acoustics and smoke leakage regulation requirements.

Under the Building Safety Act (section 10), safety critical products include those which have a designated standard.  The Office of Product Safety and Standards is the national regulator for construction products.

External fire-rated flat entrance doorsets have the designated standard EN 14351-1:2006 +A2:2016 / EN 16034:2014.

Under the Construction Products Regulation, an external fire doorset must be UKCA marked.

The Declaration of Performance (DoP) is the legal document that enables UKCA marking as a safety critical product.
