The Gerda ZW550 / ZW520 / ZW500 Series
Mortice locks have been designed to be used as additional locks in front entrance doors as well as internal doors. The innovative design and high quality components guarantee many years of fault-free operation. Due to the high quality anti-burglar features, the ZW 500 series locks is a very popular series amongst manufacturers of doors designed to a high standard of security.
Gerda ZW 550 lock has been awarded a class C certificate (the highest category for protection against burglary attack by the Institute of Precision Engineering whilst Gerda ZW 520 achieved class B certificate.
ZW550 / ZW520
The following features of Gerda ZW 550 and ZW 520 locks ensure the highest level of protection against burglary attack:
- three solid steel locking bolts,
- two hardened steel plates protecting the lock against drilling on both sides (steel is enriched with molybdenum which increases the hardness and resistance to crushing).
- Key registration system with secure replacement key service. Upon installation, the client's keys are registered with personal numbers and codes. This information is verified prior to re-ordering of keys Standard face plate finish: zinc plated,
- Gold anodised finish available upon request.
- Gerda ZW 550 and ZW 520 locks are recommended for use with certified europrofile cylinders Gerda WK M3.
ZW 500
ZW 500 is a standard version of ZW 500 series. Innovative technology and high quality components such as three solid steel locking bolts substantially increase the overall security.
Standard face plate finish: zinc or gold plated.
Other finishes available upon request (brass, chrome, gold anodized, and white (powder coated).
Gerda ZW 500 lock is recommended for use with standard europrofile cylinders.
