The Gerda ZW 3000 Series
Gerda ZW 3000 mortice lock can be used as a central lock in front entrance doors. Construction of the lock allows incorporation of special steel bolts and auxiliary locks, increasing the number of locking points between the door and its frame.
Due to the innovative design and high quality components used, this lock is very popular amongst manufacturers of doors designed to a high standard of security.
The ZW 3000 lock has been awarded a class C certificate (the highest category for protection against burglary attack).
Technical Features

The following features of Gerda ZW 3000 lock ensure the highest level of protection against burglary attack:
- multi-point locking construction
- two hardened steel covers protecting the locking mechanism against drilling (steel is enriched with molybdenum, which increases the hardness and resistance to crushing)
- handle components made of high quality materials
- simple and quick change of the direction of lock operation (left to right and vice-versa)
- high quality components used in manufacturing
- Standard specification of the ZW 3000 lock includes both flat and angle keeps allowing for fitting to doors with either steel or timber frame.
The lock is available in three versions:
- with two steel shoot bolts locking the door vertically (top and bottom),
- with an auxiliary lock additionally locking door horizontally and with a steel shoot bolt locking the door vertically
- with two auxiliary locks locking the door horizontally

The face plate of the lock is in silver effect galvanized finish.
Europrofile cylinder Gerda WK M3 and the certified high security handleset Gerda TD1000 (class C certificate) or the reinforced handleset Gerda TD200 offer additional lock protection and increase the level of security.
