The innovative Gerda® G2000® high security lock range has been developed with the following technical features

• Solid steel, surface mounted with locking bars extending across lock body for additional strength
• Two fully extended locking bars incorporated into rigid casing and the side pin protect a correctly installed lock from being prised off the door
• Equipped with a patented cylinder system which provides four thousand million key combinations, which makes each lock unique
• Anti−drill cylinder formed of several composites of metal − HSS − Hard Soft System (patented) with anti−glue facility; cylinder cannot be extracted
• Option of steel escutcheon plate with option of hardened steel bolts with anti−drill fixings
• Two anti−hacksaw locking bars each containing two hardened steel rollers
• UK designed keeps for steel or timber doors
• Right or Left hand with easy to manouvre thumb turn

Gerda® ABC™ System

Gerda® ABC™ System is an innovative integral lock change facility within the G2000® range of locks, which offers a cost-effective and secure means of keeping the existing Gerda® lock, but converting to a different key code combination within seconds.

The Gerda® AB or ABC™ system, which is fully patented, offers a quick and simple way to eliminate security concerns over lost or stolen keys, or wherever a lock change is required.

Simply insert the B key, turn 360 degrees and this cancels the A key forever. Insert the C key, turn 360 degrees and this cancel the B key. The A and B keys are cancelled forever.

Police Preferred Specification

The G2000® range of locks has been awarded the prestigious British Standards Kitemark. The locks are tested to BS3621:2007; BS8621:2007 and BS10621:2007 – this testing includes for the general vulnerability test against bumping.
